There are many factors in throwing a party, however these four are non negotiable!
It’s not just making it fun, its making it memorable and an event!! Because why not?
For a Holiday Party for about 20 people, that was mid day on a Sunday ….drinks were a must!
To keep things simple yet tasty we landed on:
- Glogg aka mulled wine
For any party you can not go wrong with something bubbly! Sparkling wine, Procecco, Cava, Rose, Champagne…anything with a little fizz adds to the celebration! Glogg is the BEST! It is a Scandinavian version of a mulled wine. A combination of spices with warm wine was perfect on this somewhat chilly day…for sure a fan favorite. You can request the recipe here!

What’s a party without food?! You have to have some sort of food, however this party was not meant to be a meal or even a hearty snack. It was perfect for an afternoon filled with small bites. Small bites are little snacks that the party goers can eat slowly and casually as they socialize and drink for a few hours. Our small bites were simple and easy with meat, cheese, veggies, and fruit.
Cookie decorating because why else would I make 115 sugar cookies? Not only is this part of our festive theme but it also doubles as a gift to take home to share with family an friends. Keeping your hands busy while socializing is so fun. Seeing the creativity and talent of our wonderful guests was entertaining!
White Elephant Gift Exchange is always a blast and is a favorite when people gather for holiday parties! The gift was $20 or less and everyone walks away with a surprise present. Alyssa, my co-host, and I went to the extreme by encouraging our guests to decorate their gifts to the best of their ability so that we would have a gorgeous table full of beautifully wrapped gifts. A couple steals, a little drama, and a lot of laughs made up our pretty, pretty, pretty gift exchange!
People make the moments!! Cheers to all the wonderful people that came to celebrate a little holiday moment! xoxoxo
